We believe in the evolutionary extraordinary

power of education

Several initiatives are undertaken within this cause, encompassing scholarships for deserving students, programs designed to elevate the quality of education, and endeavors aimed at empowering children with knowledge and skills.

Education is the only Transformative Power

Having experienced the paradigmatic shifts that education brought to their own lives, both SD Shibulal, co-founder and former CEO of Infosys, and his wife Kumari have been ardent believers in its transformative powers. It is, therefore, not entirely surprising that they decided to start and sustain their philanthropic journey in the field of education, expanding its scope and scale over the past 25 years.
At the Shibulal Family Philanthropic Initiatives (SFPI), we believe that true societal change begins with empowering individuals and transforming systems. Through our education initiatives, we are committed to nurturing the potential of every individual while strategically reshaping the core structures of society for a more just, inclusive, and resilient world.
SFPI founders are believers of Individual Empowerment as not only a personal journey but also a collective force that shapes the fabric of societies and influences the trajectory of human progress. It is an investment in the well-being of individuals and a catalyst for building a more just, inclusive, and resilient world.
The power of Systemic Transformation is not just about isolated changes; it is a strategic and intentional process that shapes the core structures of societies, organisations, and institutions. Its importance lies in its capacity to create positive, enduring, and adaptive change that aligns with the evolving needs of the world.

Individual Empowerment

It plays a key role in all education initiatives under SFPI – the founders are ardent believers of Individual Empowerment as it is not only a personal journey but also a collective force that shapes the fabric of societies and influences the trajectory of human progress. It is an investment in the well-being of individuals and a catalyst for building a more just, inclusive, and resilient world.
